Back in March of 2008, St Agnes based, Personal and Corporate Development company Evolution, started to evolve its corporate image into a fresher more contemporary looking brand. With the help of Truro based design studio Aawen, the design evolution began. The existing realistic butterfly metamorphosed into a stylized line version combined with a contemporary text layout.
Public opinion was enthusiastic within a limited market test, but the decision was taken to hold off on a major launch until supporting materials were in place. This would ensure a smoother transition from old to new allowing existing clients to be lead through the new brand, whilst also using the occasion to pull in new clients through the press coverage.
Work then started on applying the new brand to stationery, developing an updated website (which you can see @ www.evolution-development.com), newsletter and other various promotional items.
In September the new brand was launched, to overwhelming positive public opinion. Martin Crump, of Evolution said, "We knew the final design was strong and were really pleased with the enthusiastic response from clients.
